This piece was created using a process of random numbers and time-brackets. Each of the twelve snippets of field recordings are repeated in each minute, once only, sometimes appearing simultaneously with others, sometimes alone. They are obscured by a misty silence that saturates the different colours that each of the recordings possess - as though painting one layer of bold images, then covering it with a second layer of semi-opaque grey.

'all of them grey' attempts to reflect the duality between abundance of information and lack of it, in a perpetually chaotic world. It demonstrates the need for both to coexist - chaos and calm.
